GGG vs Alvarez Boxing

Tonight, Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez face off in a rematch of their thrilling draw in Las Vegas.
The two middleweights meet exactly a year after their first fight was controversially declared a draw, despite most ringside spectators calling the fight a win for GGG.
Anticipated to be one of the biggest fights of the year, the encounter has taken on added spice with Golovkin accusing Canelo of disrespecting boxing fans after his two failed drugs test scuppered original plans for a rematch in May earlier this year.
How to watch the fight

 Canelo Alvarez
One of the weird things about getting older is that time sneaks up on you quicker and quicker as the years go by. I’m not old, but we’ve had this site up and running for over 12 years now. I am certainly older now than I was then, and when we started this site, Canelo Alvarez had just turned pro, was in the very early stages of his career in Mexico, fighting at clubs against nobody in particular, learning his craft. He really came onto the scene in 2010, over eight years ago now, when he faced Jose Miguel Cotto on the Mayweather-Mosley undercard. The big flash memory of that night is Mosley rocking Mayweather in the second round, only for Money May to go on to completely dominate the fight. I did some radio spots after that, and as much as the main event, people asked me about Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, the 19-year-old Mexican fighter who featured on the undercard.

Gennady Golovkin
Generally you’re not supposed to have favorite fighters if you cover the sport, but I don’t much care for all that, so I still do. I talked about Israel Vazquez here while he was my favorite fighter in the world and I never saw any point in hiding that. In the years since, I’ve had less “favorite fighters,” but GGG has for years now been someone I knew I could tune in and get my time and money’s worth watching. Golovkin was doing damage and creating buzz long before he made it to American TV regularly, fighting mostly in Germany with stops in places like Panama, Ukraine, his home in Kazakhstan, and Denmark. He finally came to the U.S. in 2012 to face GrzegorzProksa on HBO at the Turning Stone in Verona, New York.

Saturday night is the night boxing fans have been waiting for - THE marquee match-up of 2018. Canelo Alvarez (49-1-2; 34 KOs) vs. Gennady Golovkin (38-0-1; 34 KOs): the rematch. This is about much more than titles, but it is also for a whole pile of Middleweight (160 lbs.) belts - IBO, WBA, WBC, The Ring, and the theoretical lineal crown. Ring Magazine ranks GGG at #1 in the division, and #1 pound for pound, with Canelo currently unranked due to his suspension. The fight takes place this Saturday, September 15 and airs on HBO PPV with a fight time of 8:00 p.m. ET. Canelo vs. GGG is the main event of a stacked four fight PPV card.

There’s a lot of backstory to this one folks. It’s been some time since we first started talking about Canelo vs. GGG, and the two first found themselves in the ring last September. Most felt Golovkin deserved the win there, but judges ruled the fight a controversial split draw. A rematch was planned for Cinco de Mayo, but when Canelo failed a drug test, he was given a six month suspension and that date was scrapped. He’s now back. In the year since the first fight, these two have developed a real rivalry with some heated words between the camps, adding a new dynamic to this rematch.

Jose Ramirez vs Antonio Orozco live stream online free on 14 September 2018 ESPN

Watch Jose Ramirez vs Antonio Orozco Live Streaming free ESPN Boxing online at Fresno, California, usa.  Ramirez vs Orozco Boxing fight will be kick of Friday 14 September 2018, Time 10pm ET.  Welcome to watch Jose Ramirez vs Antonio Orozco Live Stream online on your pc/laptop, mac, ipad. The 26-year-old Ramirez enters the contest with a perfect mark of 22-0 along with 16 Kos. He turned pro back in 2012 and has boxed 85 rounds since then. Garcia stands 5-feet-10-inches tall and has a 72.5-inch reach. He’s got quite a bit of pop in his fists with a current knockout ratio of 73 per cent and also possesses a pretty solid chin. Ramirez had a fine amateur career and represented the U.S. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, England where he went 1-1.

As for Orozco, he fights out of San Diego and is also unbeaten with a record of 27-0 with 17 Kos. He turned pro back in 2012 and has boxes 127 rounds since. He stands 5-feet-7-inches tall with a 70-inch reach which means he’s three inches shorter than Ramirez and also gives up 2.5 inches in reach to the champ. Orozco isn’t really known as a knockout artist, but does possess pretty good power with a current KO ratio of 63 per cent and he also owns a solid chin.

PREDICTION…
Orozco has arguably faced better opposition as a pro and he also enjoyed wins over Jessie Vargas and Javier Molina during his fine amateur career. He’ll be a stiff test for Ramirez, but I think Ramirez’s all-action and aggressive busy style will be enough to enable him to retain his title, likely by decision.
